Compass Behavioral Health is proud to announce the launching of the Compass Training Institute. A core component of Compass' mission statement is the dissemination of evidenced-based treatment to the larger Orange County community of mental health care providers. Compass has partnered with UCI School of Medicine, Psychiatry Department in the development of a comprehensive 1 year DBT rotation for second year Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellows. The didactic training in this fellowship rotation, Fundamentals of DBT Principles, Strategies, and Protocols, will be open to the larger community of mental health professionals.

What is DBT PE? The Dialectical Behavior Therapy Prolonged Exposure (DBT PE) protocol is designed to treat PTSD among suicidal, self-injuring, and multi-diagnostic adolescents and adults receiving Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
