Anger

Individuals suffering from anger may experience may interpret situations as overly threatening and believe they must respond in this way to protect themselves from harm. Situations where others state such emotions are not justified are viewed as inaccurate. Additionally, they may feel intense difficulty resisting urges to follow through with anger when it is experienced, often resulting in strained interpersonal relationships, a sense of helplessness, and even physical injury.
